I got my start in publishing but have worked on many types of print projects. When digital versions became popular I began to redesign magazines to fit on the iPad, Kindle and Nook, adding interactive elements such as videos, slideshows and buttons. I love print and have a long history working with printers doing post-production. These days I art direct, design and produce small ‘zines for a local winery and occasionally redesign magazine content for Apple News+.
I art directed and designed this beautiful and unique planner for couples who are engaged and planning their wedding and future together. At over 400 pages of information, worksheets and advice, this planner is meant to be used in lieu (or alongside) a traditional wedding planner. They are available in both a hard cover and soft cover. Visit essentialplannerco.com to buy or gift one of these beauties.
I have the pleasure of working with Jenn and Ryan Roark of Roark Wine to design ‘zines included with wine members’ biannual shipments. 8-12 pages of beautiful photography, recipes, original artwork and poems.
Design and production. We expanded on the print version with interactive features like videos, slide shows, scrolling content, interactive maps, audio playlists, social sharing, and shop-able merchandise.

Being able to bring to life a website is very rewarding. I’m passionate about helping non-profits and small businesses reach their audiences.
We were chosen to update this non-profit’s web presence and did so by customizing a Squarespace template and hiring a copy writer. By going this route, we could provide a solution that allows the client to make future updates. We also created custom Mailchimp templates for their organization to increase their reach to potential donors. Check out the good work they do here, by giving every child a chance to experience summer camp.
We collaborated with chef Ben Reden to launch his new business + website for home cooking classes. With a mix of illustrations and photography by the chef himself, he hopes to inspire playfulness and creativity with his clients in the comfort of their own kitchens. The website is complete with a shop that includes his classes and other items Ben finds essential in the kitchen. If you’re a Santa Barbara County resident, don’t hesitate to check out his site full of wonderful offerings at cookmorefood.com.
Being asked to design invitations for couples who are planning their weddings has been a true honor. In addition to the save the dates and invitations, we’ve included inserts and custom envelopes.

Gold foil; trés chic!
Fun, whimsical.
From signs, letterhead or if you just need a logo for your business, we do it all.
I was asked to create a minimal, yet bold logo for a fisherman who is adjusting his business model to allow for direct to consumer sales. First Light provides the freshest whole fish in Santa Barbara county and will deliver right to your door. Check out their site and follow them on social media to stay up-to-date on their offerings.
I was asked to create a logo for a new shop in town. Irene sells the most beautiful fabrics sourced from all over the world and designs home wares and clothing from her archive of textiles. Additionally, I was asked to make her some new postcards and a business card. If visiting the Santa Ynez Valley, take a break from the tasting rooms and check out her shop.
I updated the look for a local community Zen group which includes a logo, letterhead and a few other printed goodies for their meditation space.
Logo redesigned for an Emmy-nominated sound engineer.
